Kayla Pereira is a New Jersey–born dancer, choreographer, and educator whose artistry is rooted in versatility, energy, musicality, and authenticity. She began her professional career at nine years old after booking her first Off-Broadway production. Growing up, she trained extensively in both competitive and commercial dance environments, developing a diverse movement vocabulary that continues to shape her work today.

Her training includes being selected as an Elite Protégé with The PULSE on Tour and serving as an Intrigue Dance Intensive Assistant. She has trained under renowned industry professionals including Brian Friedman, Tricia Miranda, and Tyce Diorio. Her professional credits include Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour and NBC’s World of Dance. Kayla currently teaches and choreographs for dancers and studios around the world while touring with Intrigue Dance Convention and Drift Dance Convention.

Frequency was born from the wide range of experiences that shaped Kayla’s journey, from growing up in the competitive dance world to training and working within the professional industry. She created Frequency to build something set apart: a space where artistry is prioritized and dancers gain experiences that introduces them to the professional world. Through the program, Kayla encourages dancers to become confident, versatile, and unmistakably individual artists.
